The Artist Archetype: Inspire Creativity in Others

The Artist Archetype is, you guessed it – Creative and inspiring. It makes people feel inspired and unique. They envision. They create. They are always improving their talents. Everything they do is creative! They have panache … they have flair!

As an Artist Brand (or Creator, as it is sometimes called), your company is driven by creativity. You are always striving to hone your artistic abilities. No matter what the medium or products and services, you always include elements of vision and innovation.

Artist brands are both inspired and inspire others. You bring out the creative side in your clients and those around you. Individuality is high on your priority list! You are the big idea people. Daydreamers. You are constantly asking, “What if?”

WARNING: If your business and industry are already creative (artist, graphic design, cake decorating, classes, etc.) you may be tempted to automatically choose the Artist Archetype because it is such a natural fit. There is nothing wrong with this, per se, but don’t discount the other Archetypes first. We never tell businesses which archetype to be – rather we walk you through our Brand Discovery Process to discover it on your own. However, the only thing I do caution people about is to NOT choose the archetype that everyone else in your industry is already doing. You want to stand OUT – not blend in. Your creativity will always shine through if you are creative.

Get your brushes wet and mix up some paint – we are about to find out all about the Artist Archetype.

Standing up Against The Competition

The Artist brand has a great opportunity to make their clients’ dreams and visions a reality through creative, talented, and unique ways.  Your clients were feeling like they were just rehashing old ground and were stuck in a rut … until they met YOU! If your competition is boring or super low-key, the Artist will provide products and services beyond customers’ wildest dreams.

Embracing Your Archetype

Once you choose an archetype, it is important to look at everything you do through that lens. Zeedia Media has a process and schedule that cuts it up into bite-size pieces tackling only one hurdle at a time in a way that makes sense.

We guide you to look at each aspect of your business, starting with your name and logo. Is it ARTIST enough? Can it be improved upon? Then we move onto colors, fonts, taglines, etc. until each element of your brand and company culture has been tweaked and improved to be in line with your brand. This is true no matter which archetype you pick.

With any brand initiative, the most important element is consistency. The more consistent your message is the bigger impact you will have over time in your space. People will start to recognize your company and associate it with ARTIST-like qualities- whether they realize it or not.

We are dying to know!
